The Telangana Government has started releasing district-wise recruitment notifications for Anganwadi Teacher and Anganwadi Helper posts under the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS). A total of 15,982 vacancies are expected across all 33 districts, including 3,100 Anganwadi Teacher posts and 12,882 Anganwadi Helper posts.
The latest notification has been released for Jogulamba Gadwal District. Eligible women candidates can submit their online applications from 29 June 2026 to 08 July 2026 (5:00 PM) through the official website.

Intermediate (10+2) Pass for Anganwadi Teacher. For Helper posts, if Intermediate-qualified candidates are unavailable, SSC (10th Pass) candidates will be considered. |

| Local Status |
Applicants must be permanent residents of the Anganwadi Centre area. Rural candidates must belong to the respective Gram Panchayat, while urban candidates must belong to the concerned Ward. |
Reservation
- Reservation will be implemented as per the prescribed roster.
- SC/ST Sub-Plan posts are reserved only for eligible candidates belonging to the specified village, habitation, or Gram Panchayat.
- A valid Residence Certificate issued by the Tahsildar within the last one year is mandatory.
- If there is any change in the applicant’s name, a Gazette Notification or Court Order must be produced.

Certificate Verification
Candidates who submit online applications must attend document verification at the concerned ICDS Project Office between 08 July 2026 and 17 July 2026 during office hours. Applicants must carry original certificates along with attested photocopies. Failure to attend verification will result in rejection of the application.
Persons with Disabilities Eligible to Apply
The following categories of women candidates with disabilities are eligible, subject to fulfilling the prescribed conditions:
- Candidates with hearing impairment using hearing aids.
- Visually impaired candidates who can perform duties independently without assistance.
- Candidates with physical disabilities affecting limbs, provided they can carry out preschool teaching and childcare responsibilities effectively.
