About the Scholarship
The Sitaram Jindal Foundation, a Bengaluru-based non-profit organization, offers financial assistance to meritorious students from economically weaker sections. The scholarship supports students pursuing education from PUC level to Postgraduate, Engineering, and Medical courses.

Scholarship Amount by Course
PUC & ITI Students
- Girls: ₹700 per month
- Boys: ₹500 per month
Undergraduate (UG) Courses
Courses: BA, BCom, BSc, BCA, BBA, etc.
- Girls: ₹1,400 per month
- Boys: ₹1,100 per month
- Differently-Abled Students: ₹1,400 per month
Postgraduate (PG) Courses
Courses: MA, MSc, MCom, MBA, MCA, etc.

Diploma Courses
- Girls: ₹1,200 per month
- Boys: ₹1,000 per month
Engineering & Medical Courses

- Boys: ₹2,800 – ₹3,200 per month
- Hostel students may receive additional assistance.
Eligibility Criteria
Academic Requirement
- Boys must have secured at least 60%–65% marks in the previous examination.
- Girls must have secured at least 55%–60% marks.
- Karnataka students receive up to 5% relaxation in marks criteria.
Income Limit
- Family annual income should not exceed ₹2.5 lakh.
- For certain professional courses, the limit may be higher.
Other Conditions
- Applicant must be studying in a recognized institution.
- Distance education students are not eligible.
