Good news for unemployed youth belonging to minority communities! The Karnataka Government has launched a scheme to provide free light and heavy vehicle driving training to thousands of eligible candidates, helping them start self-employment.
About the Free Training Scheme
The Government of Karnataka, in collaboration with the Minority Welfare Department and the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), is offering free driving training to eligible candidates.

Scheme Details
This program is for unemployed youth from minority communities such as:
- Muslim
- Christian
- Jain
- Buddhist
- Sikh
- Parsi
Candidates can choose training for:
- Light Motor Vehicles (LMV)
- Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMV)
Different age limits apply for each category. Along with driving skills, candidates will also receive training in:
- Road safety
- Traffic rules
- Vehicle maintenance
