Eligibility Criteria

Anganwadi Worker

  • Must be a woman or transgender woman.
  • Must have passed PUC (12th Standard).
  • Must be a resident of the village/ward where the Anganwadi Centre is located.
  • Age limit: 18 to 35 years (relaxation applicable as per government rules).

Anganwadi Helper

  • Must be a woman or transgender woman.
  • Must have passed SSLC (10th Standard).
  • Must be a resident of the village/ward where the Anganwadi Centre is located.
  • Age limit: 18 to 35 years.

Honorarium

The Anganwadi positions are honorary service posts and not regular government jobs. The approximate monthly honorarium is:

Additional benefits such as Poshan 2.0 performance incentives and uniform allowance may also be provided as per government norms.

Selection Process

There will be no written examination.

Candidates will be selected based on:

  • Educational qualifications.
  • Local residency criteria.
  • Merit list prepared as per departmental guidelines.

Important: Applicants can apply only for vacancies available in the Anganwadi Centre located within their own village or ward.
