RWF Yelahanka Recruitment 2026: Rail Wheel Factory (RWF), Yelahanka, functioning under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, has invited applications for Act Apprentice training in various technical trades for the year 2025-26. Educational Qualification

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

  • Must have passed 10th standard (Matriculation) or equivalent examination with minimum 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board.
  • Must possess a National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the relevant trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).
  • Candidates holding Engineering Degree or Diploma are not eligible for this apprenticeship.
  • Candidates possessing SCVT certificates are not eligible.
  • ITI results must have been declared before the notification date.

Age Limit (As on 01.03.2026)

  • Minimum Age: 15 Years
  • Maximum Age: 24 Years

Age Relaxation

  • SC/ST: 5 Years
  • OBC: 3 Years
  • PwD: 10 Years
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per Government Rules

Stipend Details

Selected candidates will receive the following monthly stipend during the training period:

  • Fitter, Machinist, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Turner, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic: ₹12,261 per month
  • CNC Programming cum Operator: ₹10,899 per month

Training Duration

  • CNC Trade: 6 Months
  • All Other Trades: 1 Year

Application Fee

  • General & OBC Candidates: ₹100
  • SC/ST/PwD/Women Candidates: No Fee

The fee must be paid through Indian Postal Order (IPO) or Demand Draft from a nationalized bank in favor of:

“Principal Financial Adviser / Rail Wheel Factory”

Note: Payment instruments issued before the notification date will not be accepted.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on merit:

  • A Merit List will be prepared based on the percentage of marks obtained in 10th standard.
  • Marks in all subjects will be considered.
  • Tie-breaking rule: If two candidates have equal marks, the older candidate will be given preference. If the date of birth is also the same, the candidate who passed 10th earlier will be preferred.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
  • Selected candidates must submit a Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a Gazetted Medical Officer.

Medical Standards

Candidates must:

  • Have a minimum height of 137 cm
  • Weigh at least 25.4 kg
  • Be free from any contagious diseases
