The state government has decided to fill a total of 72,186 vacancies in various departments. To ensure the recruitment process is completed on time, a high-level monitoring committee has been formed under Government Order No. CS/21/GEN/2026.

Vacancy Distribution
The approved vacancies are divided into two major categories:
- General & Various Government Departments: 40,009 posts
- These vacancies have remained unfilled from the 2023–24 financial year up to the current year.
- Kalyana Karnataka Local Cadre: 32,177 posts
- The government has given priority to filling around 80% of the vacant local cadre posts in the Kalyana Karnataka region.

Recruitment Timeline
The Karnataka Government has issued strict deadlines for completing the recruitment process:
