Andhra Pradesh Releases ₹3,125 Crore Under Annadata Sukhibhava–PM Kisan Scheme

Amaravati, June 2026: In a major boost to the agricultural sector, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister officially released ₹3,125.47 crore under the Annadata Sukhibhava–PM Kisan Scheme on June 20, 2026. The funds were directly transferred to the bank accounts of 46.85 lakh eligible farmers across the state as the first installment for the 2026–27 financial year. Each beneficiary received ₹7,000 through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system, ensuring quick and transparent delivery of financial assistance.

The Annadata Sukhibhava–PM Kisan Scheme is one of Andhra Pradesh’s flagship farmer welfare initiatives aimed at strengthening the financial security of agricultural families. Under the integrated program, eligible farmers receive a total annual assistance of ₹20,000. This amount includes ₹14,000 contributed by the Andhra Pradesh Government and ₹6,000 provided through the Central Government’s program. The scheme is designed to help farmers meet cultivation expenses, reduce dependence on loans, and improve agricultural productivity.

To ensure timely support throughout the farming season, the annual assistance is distributed in three installments. The first installment of ₹7,000 was released in June 2026. A second installment of ₹7,000 will be provided later in the financial year, followed by a final installment of ₹6,000. This phased approach enables farmers to access financial resources during critical stages of crop cultivation and harvesting.

The government has also strengthened digital governance through the Annadata Sukhibhava online portal. Farmers can conveniently check their beneficiary status, payment details, and application progress without visiting government offices. To verify payment status, beneficiaries need to visit the official portal, select the “Know Your Status” option, enter their 12-digit Aadhaar number, complete the CAPTCHA verification, and submit the request. The portal then displays eligibility details, registration status, and the bank account information linked to the DBT payment.

Officials have emphasized the importance of compliance with eligibility requirements to avoid delays in receiving benefits. One of the key requirements is the completion of PM-Kisan e-KYC verification. Farmers who have not completed the mandatory electronic Know Your Customer (e-KYC) process may experience delays in receiving future installments. The government has therefore urged all beneficiaries to verify that their e-KYC details are updated and approved.

Another crucial factor is proper bank account mapping with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). Any mismatch between Aadhaar details, land records, and bank account information can lead to transaction failures. Farmers are advised to coordinate with their local bank branches to ensure that their accounts are correctly linked and capable of receiving DBT payments.

The release of ₹3,125.47 crore demonstrates the government’s continued commitment to farmer welfare and rural development. By combining state and central assistance under a single framework, the Annadata Sukhibhava–PM Kisan Scheme provides comprehensive financial support to millions of farming families. The initiative not only strengthens agricultural livelihoods but also promotes transparency, efficiency, and digital accessibility in the delivery of welfare benefits.
